People say that being born again sometimes feels like electricity. Mine did too, kind of. I think people say electricity because that’s the closest description they can find, not because that’s exactly how it feels. If I try to describe how my rebirth felt I should add words like rush, acceleration, flying, alive, primal. Actually there seem to be many ways the event can feel. Others report quite different more gentle sensations.
Perhaps it is the feeling of literally being made anew. Maybe God undoes the quantum entanglements that our sin made in all our body by replacing every particle of us at that moment of rebirth – a bit like a Star Trek transporter teleporter.
2 Corinthians 5:17 >> therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new, <<
Translation from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light may also be like a mathematical translation whereby particles are rotated partly into a different dimension than previously – translated through 90 or 180 degrees.
Casting a net the other side has more than one meaning. As usual God's beautiful bible is telling us many things in a simple story. It is literally about direction too.
I'll close on this thought: No pregnancy is unplanned. He knew His plan for you before you were knit together in your mother's womb. He is our true Father, our maker. He planned you, He loves you and He will save you. All you have to do is ask Him.
